Misschien ge�nspireerd door het liedje "Winter" van Tori Amos kijk ik naar buiten en krijg ik een herfstgevoel. Blij ben ik met mapos;n grote, oude ramen van waaruit ik naar buiten kijken kan: lichtjes�in de Helperkerkstraat,�een�verlaten tuin en het gevoel dat Zwarte Piet elk moment langs kan komen.��Kortere dagen (zeker op een dag als deze waarin vooral veel geslapen wordt), ladingen vol bladen rondom de Helpervilla en binnen kerkdiensten op Nederland 2 (tijdens het zappen), de studie en de CV aan (�"het haarvuur" klinkt beter, maar dat heb ik niet). Listening to her ipod, Meg was singling lightly, really trying to be quiet as she shuffled through her closet to find something to wear. Not sleeping good lately meant she was up early and since her birthday was just in a few days, sheapos;d already started recieving birthday money. It would be another day of shopping for her. Actually, she figured sheapos;d rent a car and drive to New Orleans for the day. That would be fun. But she was still being thinky about it all and wondering if Sam would even mind her going to New Orleans by herself. She should check with him first.

After she was dressed, she pulled her semi-wet hair into a ponytail and quietly left the room in case Willow was there and still sleeping. After breakfast, sheapos;d find Sam.

You know, I was making fun of Netbooks when they first came out cuz I kept thinking who would want to use something so hideously small. Small screen and small keyboard == do not want/will not use

Then the 9-inch Netbooks come out, closely followed by the 10-inch ones.

Thatapos;s when I started reading up on them and watching video reviews~ And itapos;s also then that I realized that they were usable (as in, the keyboard didnapos;t require midget hands) and the monitor didnapos;t actually strain the eyes. I also talked to mental and dorm about the Asus EEE as they owned one and seemed to like it lots. :O

Of course, seeing that they were adorable meant that I was tempted to get one even though I had absolutely no justification for needing a laptop of any size.

........ Everyone knows the end of this story. :P

Anyway, Iapos;m enjoying my widdle Eeenuu. XD I find it really handy since I like to keep it open to search stuff online or chat while Iapos;m playing games full-screen on my desktop. Itapos;s also light and easy to bring everywhere Sometimes, I even have it with me while I sit in bed. :B

For me, itapos;s like a little computer dedicated to the Internet even though itapos;s definitely not limited to that.

Of course, you can do all this with any notebook but since my other one is a chunky, old, must-use-AC-adapter, not-wifi-enabled system, my miniscule EEE is my laptop of choice. :D

I just wish Asus would ease up on pumping out a new EEE every other month. You buy one and then itapos;s pretty much obsolete in a couple of weeks One 10-inch model being churned out are apparently thinner than the regular build and another upcoming EEE will supposedly have a touch-screen. I donapos;t think any other company is putting in so much effort to spam the market with Netbooks.

When is this going to stop? X_x

Iapos;m actually still waiting for Dell to put out the Inspiron Mini with a red lid like in their prototype photos. Itapos;s so shiny and pretty. *____* (Yes, knowing me, Iapos;ll throw money away to get another little computer. I have no willpower. -_-;)

I�have had this thing for a long, long time and I�neglect the fuck out of it. 2007 was a fucking terrible TERRIBLE year, the end of it got a little better but I�was so glad it was over. So I�shall bring it all upto date.

Work:

I still work for the Bank of Scotland, 3 and a half years now. I work in a different team and well my job is in a bit of a state because of this whole "credit crunch"�shite.

Home:

I have my own room, thats good. Dad is an arsehole. Less said the better.

Love:

Well well, reading back previous posts I�am very glad to say out with the old in with the new. He stays in Motherwell and his name beings with a K but it is very much NOT�Kenny. His name is Kris and I�have been with him for over a year. I�met him the night I�bumped into Kenny in the Cathouse back in June last year. Things were difficult at the beinging a lot of old bagage kicking about, but after a few tweaks I am glad to say I�am very happy.

Hes the complete opposite of Kenny, but has the same nice sides but all the time. The feeling Kenny used to give me when he wasnt in a mood is the feeling I get with Kris all the time. Weapos;ve had out ups and downs but it makes us stronger. Weapos;ve been on holiday together, stayed together for a week and well things are very good between us.

There are wee things that bug me but Im determind not to let them ruin what I�have with him.

I�may post this sometime in 2009 and hopefully things will be all good.

I think Iapos;m going to skip gender, though. Iapos;ve done so much crap thatapos;s not gender stuff that I totally didnapos;t do any of the reading, and so I donapos;t think I even want to show up and just feel shitty the whole time.
